Our Story

Born in the early 1980s, Russell and Elijah were destined to become master machine technicians. From a young age, they were mentored by their fathers, who were highly skilled in a variety of technical fields. These hands-on influences shaped their paths and naturally sparked a deep love for taking things apart, fixing them, and repurposing them—a passion both still take immense pride in today.

Trained in a wide array of technical disciplines, Russell and Elijah gained not only invaluable hands-on knowledge but also the ability to learn independently. This skill of troubleshooting and problem-solving on their own has become one of their greatest assets—a crucial ability for any technician or engineer.

Their fathers exposed them to a broad range of complex skills, including communication, project organization, tool usage, creating solutions, electronics, mechanical engineering, engine building, computer programming, aeronautics, and much more. This well-rounded education equipped them with both the theoretical knowledge and practical expertise needed for a variety of technical challenges.

With expertise spanning from machine tools to aircraft design and electronics, Russell and Elijah's education is as diverse as it is expansive. The emphasis on autodidacticism—learning on their own and adapting to new challenges—has made them resourceful and able to continually grow in their careers.

In pursuit of their mission to help machine shops of all sizes, Russell and Elijah founded RS Machine Repair, Inc. Their goal is simple:  "Ensure customers receive the highest quality repairs at an affordable rate, all while providing honest and reliable information." Through RS Machine Repair, they aim to use their extensive knowledge to help others while maintaining the values of integrity and excellence in every job they undertake.
